Flutter Butts:

These are an evolution of the original autonomous machines that maintained the Cathedral. As the bridge grows in complexity and size so too do the Flutter-Butts evolve to care for it.  Named for their strange butt-like balloon sack, these steam-powered robots build and maintain the Armatures and Steam Nodes. The operator can command them, but they don’t seem to communicate back.
